Wine Club
Cheers! The Sun Lakes Wine Club
enjoyed another sold-out event — Tacos
& Sangria Night in July. The event was
catered by The Taco Ladies, who served
delicious tacos, beans, rice, and roasted
green peppers. Additionally, the club
offered a selection of six wines for tasting
and the opportunity to create your own
custom Sangria with a variety of fruits to
blend with the different wine selections.
Mark your calendars for Tues., Sept. 16
at 6 pm when we host our next event at the South Clubhouse. The
theme is Barbecue With Central California Wines!
Your dedicated Wine Club Committee will prepare a BBQ feast,
including pulled pork, tri-tip steak, and baby back ribs, along with
homemade cole slaw, baked beans, and banana pudding.
Of course, there will be six bottles of wine per table of eight, all
selected from wineries located in Central California and the Central
Coast. Please bring your own wine glass.
Seating is available for 96 members, and spots will sell out
quickly, so don't delay in dropping off your checks. The price is only
$40 per person for members of the Sun
Lakes Wine Club. Members can invite a
guest for $45.
Please drop off your checks at the
Wine Club mailbox on the front porch
of 4883 Copper Creek Drive. If you want
to sit with friends, be sure to include all
checks in one envelope.
