A surprisingly cool morning in mid-July, but then at 7 am
perhaps it should be expected. Yes, we had a very early start to
our Pickleball Club Summer Tournament 2025. Seven men and
seven women battled it out for nearly three hours after 30 minutes
of warm-ups, of course. This was in a rotating partner design so
each of the men and each of the women played one game together.
It was challenging, but a whole lot of fun!
Our champs for the tournament were Keith and Janet Davis.
Taking second place were Adriana Davis and Richard Clarke.
Rounding out third were Christie Clarke and Sean Vaughn. (Shown
in the order mentioned.) Congratulations to all the winners!
The group picture is of all the participants as well as our faithful
score keeper, Louis Cherpin. Thank you Louis. And thank you to
all the members and friends who came to cheer us on.
We sure could use some more ladies who would like to play
and join in future tournaments. We were two short of the men so
unfortunately all the men did not get to join in that would have
liked to.
We're here to have fun, so check us out and I'll see you… on
the courts.
