Recreational Vehicle Regulations e Board of Directors has recently received several complaints about owners and visitors violating the Solera Recreational Vehicle Rules. e Board would like to remind all residents of these rules. 1. Denition of a Recreation Vehicle: • Motorhome • 5th Wheels • Travel Trailers • Campers (including trucks with a slide-in camper shell) • Modied Van or van conversion • Boats 2. All recreational vehicles must enter through the main gate to obtain a parking pass. is pass should be displayed in the driver's side window and be visible from the street when the vehicle is on Association property. 3. All resident-owned recreational vehicles must have a Solera decal axed to the window of the recreational vehicle. 4. No recreational vehicle may be parked, maintained, constructed, reconstructed, or repaired on any lot or street within the community. ese provisions do not apply to cleaning, loading, or unloading, or short-term parking (not to exceed 48 consecutive hours). Recreational vehicles are permitted for a total of up to 120 hours in any calendar month. A parking pass will be issued for this purpose, allowing resident-owned recreational vehicles to be parked on a street, driveway, or safe location near the owner's residence. 5. Except as outlined in paragraph 4 above, resident-owned recreational vehicles are not allowed to park in any Solera driveway, street, or parking lot. If these vehicles cannot be garaged, they must obtain a pass or be parked outside of Solera. 6. While parked within Solera, no one may occupy the recreational vehicle overnight. 7. Emergency reectors and cones must be placed in the front, rear, and extended slide-out areas of the parked recreational vehicle. Slide-outs can only be extended on the street side during daylight hours, with proper cone placement. 8. Non-resident owned recreational vehicles and those without Solera decals are not permitted to park overnight on Solera streets and must be removed from the Association property by 9 pm. Resident recreational vehicle owners should park their vehicles closest to their house. While slides are permitted during daylight hours, they should be retracted whenever possible to allow safe passage for residents to the le of the vehicle. e Recreational Vehicle Rules are designed to improve the safety of the Solera community.
