Welcome to George Vawter, our new Board member liaison for
the Welcome Committee! I also want to thank Ronnie Zacker for
volunteering to be the committee's co-chairperson. She will be
leading this year's New Year's Eve party, sponsored by the Welcome
Committee, so stay tuned for more information about that.
And more thank-yous … to everyone who participated in our
August New Resident Gathering. This includes the new residents
who attended as well as our Board members and our club/group
representatives. We had a great time! We gave gifts to each
household in attendance, introduced many of our clubs and groups,
shared some interesting information about Solera, held a raff le
for many prizes including Home Depot gift cards, and conducted
a Q&A session. Any feedback or suggestions for our next annual
event are welcome! I'll include photos in next month's article.
As a reminder, if you're a new resident and would like your name
or even a photo included in one of our upcoming Life in Solera
articles, please let me know.

Communications & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC)
We're back! We need volunteers to help move the community into
the 21st century.
We conduct research, develop, and improve existing and new
communication media for the community. To achieve our goals, we
are exploring effective communication methods and state-of-the-art
technological solutions to keep all residents informed. We find that
having an analytical mind is all it takes.
If you are interested, please visit the office to fill out a volunteer form
and include your background. All backgrounds will be considered.
Did you know that you can sign up your family and friends to
receive e-blasts or text messages (Emergency) to inform you if your
loved ones will need help here in Solera Oak Valley Greens? Please
