| OHCC LIVING | SEPTEMBER 2025 | 7 I hope everyone is doing well and that you enjoyed the summer season with your sons, daughters, and grandchildren! Safety remains a top priority in our community. Please remember to stop at all stop signs, this includes bicyclists. Stay aware of your surroundings, whether you're walking or driving. If you need to make a phone call, please pull over and park safely on a nearby street. I'd also like to bring up a recent event that occurred … It was reported that an employee of a remodeling company attempted to commit theft or break into a resident's home. A police report has been filed regarding the incident. While Ocean Hills is a gated community, I want to remind all residents to remain vigilant. Please exercise caution when allowing contractors, service providers, or guests you do not personally know to enter the community. Your safety and the security of our neighborhood are our top priorities. Let's continue to look out for one another. Any questions regarding the rules and regulations, please do not hesitate to contact the front gate. I or any of the other officers will gladly answer them, we seek compliance and adherence to the rules established at Ocean Hills Country Club. Any actions performed by the officers that you would like me to address with the patrol officers, please give me a call or email. That should be it for now! As always, thank you OHCC residents, for your vital role in our community. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the rules. We are committed to serving you and the community; your feedback is invaluable. If you have any concerns or suggestions that you would like to see addressed in a future issue of OHCC Living, we encourage you to share them. Please feel free to contact me via email or phone. My office at the front gate is always open for residents. ~ Tony Duong, Account Manager, Securitas Security Services, Tony.Duong@ securitasinc.com, (760) 766-1458 or (760) 505-2146 Donation Options in OHCC Do you have household and garden items you no longer need or use? Is your garage overf lowing with things you haven't touched in years? Do you have more furniture than your home can hold? Are your closets and dressers overf lowing with clothes you no longer wear? Maybe you have extra blankets and towels that are just taking up space, a pair of outdated prescription glasses tucked away in a drawer, or a growing collection of empty recyclable cans and bottles? If you answered yes to any of these questions we have a simple and rewarding solution for you. Consider donating these items to someone who will truly appreciate them. The Community Services Committee has compiled a list of charitable organizations and OHCC Clubs that are currently accepting donations through volunteers that live here in our Community. Your contributions could go toward helping Camp Pendleton military members and families, young women in need, Ronald McDonald House, foster-youth aging out of the system, local pet efforts, and others. A f lyer is available in the Clubhouse with the list of the participating organization or club, a description of the items they accept, contact information of the volunteer coordinator, and specific instructions on how and where to leave your donation. Giving through a fellow neighbor is a convenient and worthwhile way to declutter your home while making a positive impact. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated volunteers who generously support these important causes.
