I enjoy this month so much! For me, it marks the start of the holiday season and decorating the house. I hope the weather has cooled down, and I look forward to having a hot coffee in front of the fireplace. I will always miss seeing the children trick-or-treating. Our next meeting and support group is Thurs., Oct. 16 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. For the educational part of our meeting, Diane will discuss "The Challenges Of The Holidays – How Things Change When You're A Caregiver And The Tools That Will Make It Easier." Our group is free, and there is no membership fee, just free knowledge for you to absorb. We are here to help you. Come share and learn! Don't forget about our program in the Arts & Crafts Room. We care for your loved one while you attend the meeting. Our group consists of loving and capable volunteers who play games, do exercises, and engage in activities to keep your loved one happy while you attend the meeting. This month, KAHULA LEI LANI will entertain us. These three ladies (Olga Marquette, Kathy Reynolds, and Penny Skog) are very talented and generously share their time and talents with us.
