24 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2025
Facilities Committee
Fall has arrived in our vibrant community, and, with it, the
completion of The Summit renovations. In October, the Facilities
Committee will finish this extensive project, opening the doors for
everyone to enjoy.
The project included several upgrades: new tile work, replastering
both the pool and spa, resurfacing the decks, and painting the
interior and exterior. The schedule features deck resurfacing from
Sept. 22 to Oct. 3, followed by painting from Sept. 22 to Oct. 17.
Meanwhile, final touches are being made to The Lodge. The
Board of Directors approved designs for sound panel artwork
featuring three distinct themes.
At the main entrance wall, residents will see artwork of trees
from the Breeze, created using original photographs submitted
for the magazine's front cover. This collaboration between
Communications Committee Chair Irene Welker and Breeze
Publisher Courtney Taylor showcases teamwork across committees.
The back wall will feature art inspired by the four seasons of the
year, thanks to Brandon Arner from FirstService, whose creativity
and dedication have been invaluable. On the large wall near the
storage area, sound panels will be wrapped in material that
complements the room's colors and carpet.
These renovations not only modernize our shared spaces but
also celebrate the spirit and creativity of our community. As
construction crews finish the remaining details, excitement builds
for the grand reveal.
Looking ahead, these refreshed spaces are set to become central
gathering spots for upcoming events, social occasions, and casual
conversations. Our gratitude goes to everyone who contributed to
these projects through excellent communication and teamwork.
The Facilities Committee also extends thanks to our Four Seasons
residents for their patience during the renovation process. We hope
everyone will enjoy these new improvements and incorporate them
into their daily lives.
For the rest of 2025, our focus will remain on completing
renovation projects and planning new initiatives for 2026. Our
committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9
am in the RCN Conference Room, and all residents are welcome to
attend. ~ Regina Farmer, ginjo25@aol.com
