| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2025 | 23 Fall is here, the leaves are changing colors, the weather is nally cooling down… but not the Golden Girls. We are ready to welcome in the fall season with so much energy and enthusiasm. At our August meeting we welcomed two new members, Shelly Mittrick and Chris Fullerton. Our meetings begin with a 15-20 minute social time to meet and greet. Once our meeting ocially opens we start with the pledge of allegiance and self introductions with a twist. To learn more about our members we ask them to answer a fun fact icebreaker "Who was your rst teenage celebrity crush?" or "What was your most memorable childhood Halloween costume?" Our meetings only last from 1:15 until 3 pm, at the latest. Our Fun Day Friday is the rst Friday of the month at 1 pm in the Game Room. Each month we play a variety of card games, board games and dice games. You name it, we play it. It's a fun time to just get together and have fun and laugh. In August (as I mentioned before), we had a wonderful experience being part of a Drum Circle. We had 18 ladies attend for the aernoon of relaxation and creativity. We continue to support our four legged friends in getting together to cut and sew blankets to make mats for the loving pets who need a home. ank you ladies for all your sewing talents and time. We also support Valley Restart Shelter by collecting needed items for the residents. ank you Sharon Stout for chairing this project. One of our outings was to Ramona Playhouse eater to see Arsenic and Old Lace, organized by member Kristine Chilcote. We have a very busy October planned. On Oct. 18 we will travel to Old Town Temecula eater to see Fiddler On the Roof. On Oct. 26 we will visit the Bates Nut Farm, and on Oct. 27 we will have our Hollow Meeting which we will dress up and have "nger foods"using your creative culinary skills. How can it get any better than that? Join us and become a member of this high energy fun lled active club. We meet on the fourth Monday of the month in the Ballroom at 1:15 pm.
