Bye, bye, Lanai, we've wrapped up another great season of
outdoor Lanai Doo-Wop events, and what a season it was!
Gathering by the pool under the open sky created the perfect
setting — truly, it doesn't get much better than that. While we
still have two more events coming up indoors, we can't help but
look back with gratitude for the memories we made outside.
Even as this year's Doo-Wop season winds down, we're already
planning ahead for next year. But before that, we're excited to host
a special holiday event: Children Meet Santa on Dec. 6.
is event is close to our hearts because of the joy it brings to
the children in our community. We would love for all the other
clubs to join in and be part of this celebration. If you'd like to help
out—as an elf, Santa's helper, or in any other way — please reach
out to the Doo-Wop Club.
Last year, aer the event, many neighbors told me they wished
they had known about it. e reason they weren't informed was
simple — they weren't members of one of the sponsoring clubs.
is year, we want to change that. Our goal is to make sure
everyone has the opportunity to join in the fun. at means not
only inviting club members but also extending the invitation to all
of our neighbors throughout the village. Everyone is welcome to
bring their children to meet Santa and share in the holiday spirit.
With everyone's help — and a community-wide announcement
— I believe we can make this year's Santa event the biggest and
