My husband and I have fallen several times outside our home. In each case, someone has come along to help get us up and back home, or to call an ambulance if necessary. We appreciate those who have dared to get involved and gone out of their way to help. ~ Linda and John Sims Soon we will have lived here in SLCC for 25 years, having moved here from Adrian, Michigan. What a wonderful community we have here in Banning. Some time this past year, I asked Courtney to place a note into our Lifestyles Magazine, requesting plastic grocery bags that our residents have which they no longer need. e response has been OVERWHELMING! Because of the response, we cannot accept any more bags this year as we probably have enough bags for a year, maybe two — and have no more room to store these bags. However, I go to H.E.L.P. (Hope / Empathy / Love / Prayer) four days per week to volunteer. I will continue to pick up donations from our kind and generous residents.
