Happy Thanksgiving! What a wonderful month! This is a month to think of all the things and people in our life that we are thankful for. I am thankful for each of you that I have met in this amazing group. I am thankful for the volunteers who help me each month in the Arts & Crafts Room during the meeting. Thank you to Susan Brown, Shelly Braatz, Melodie Connolly, and our newest volunteer Alfonso Felix. I am thankful for the many talented people who have entertained our loved ones this past year. I am especially thankful to Diane Stone who conducts the meeting each month and is always there for all who need help. Our next meeting and support group will be Thurs., Nov. 20 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. This month the educational segment will focus on practical matters, including understanding advance directives, healthcare powers of attorney, and end-of-life options. Our group is free and there is no membership fee. Just free knowledge for you to absorb. We are here to help you. Come share and learn! Don't forget about our program in the Arts & Crafts Room. We care for your loved one while you attend the meeting. We are a group of loving and very capable volunteers who play games, do exercises, and do just about anything to keep your loved one happy while you attend the meeting. This month the groups Fusion and Pizzaz will entertain. Thank you so much to the group Kahula Lei Lani for entertaining last month.
