FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2025 29 Social Committee We have two members stepping down from their positions. They will still remain on the committee, but not in their current roles. Elaine Recchion will step down as Decoration Supervisor, and Bobbie Christman will step down from the Secretary position. We will need to find replacements. If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact me. Did you miss the magician event (photos above)? Well, Anthony and Dawn were fabulous! I personally love magic. I have been to the Magic Castle many times over the years, and their magic was top-notch. If they are ever invited back to Four Seasons, please add them to your must-see list. A special thank you to Colin Taylor for creating the commercial to help boost ticket sales. The 20-year Anniversary was a complete success! I hope everyone who viewed the 20th Anniversary Parade saw all of the wonderful entries. The Social Committee was able to feature two carts in the parade. Since the carts were new, we chose not to decorate the outside. Instead, we decorated the inside with f lappers from the Roaring '20s. Why? Because we are planning a Roaring '20s event in 2026. The Murder Mystery Company will perform Death of a Gangster on April 25, 2026. This is just one of the exciting events planned for that year. Our final event for 2025 is a "New York" New Year's Eve celebration. MARK YOUR CALENDARS — tickets go on sale Dec. 2 from 9 to 11 am in the Ballroom. Seating will be assigned. On New Year's Eve, Ballroom doors open at 5 pm, with appetizers and champagne served upon arrival. The ticket price remains the same as last year at $75 per person. We will celebrate the New Year at 9 pm and conclude at 10 pm. Entertainment will be provided by the band called Jolly Corks who will play from 7 to 10 pm. They're sure to play one of your favorites! The caterer will once again be Anne Taylor. Photographer JB Photo will be there with plenty of fun props to capture the mood of the evening. Hope to see you all there to ring in the new year 2026! ~ Lisa Johnson, lisajohnson710@gmail.com elma Towner and Anthony Hernandez Rich Gabriel and Anthony Hernandez Volunteers for the Social Committee: Margaret Jones, elma Towner, Chris Gambino, Janet Owen, Elaine Recchion, Denise Culley, DeAne Nottingham, and Lisa Johnson. The committee made an inspection walk of Trails A and B loop on Oct. 1. Both trails and buffer zones were very well maintained with very little trash. Even the tin whistle drains in the basins were clear of debris. Members agreed that it's the cleanest these trails have ever looked. The Board will be requested to approve Donna Lewis to become a member of the committee. Our next inspection walk will be of Trail B and the Potrero parcel on Nov. 5 at 8 am. We will start at the Potrero Trail Monument in The Lodge parking lot. ~ Howard Ochi, Conservancy Committee Chair, hmochi47@hotmail.com Conservancy
