FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2025 59 Quilting Enthusiasts On Oct. 4, Four Seasons celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a parade, In-N-Out hamburgers, live music, cupcakes, a slideshow showcasing 20 years of history, and a stunning quilt presented by the Quilting Enthusiasts. With the facilities repainted and compass colors refreshed, Karen Reed presented her idea to the group, and several members helped make it a reality. The finished quilt will be displayed in the Ballroom or main entry of The Lodge. I've included a picture of the quilt, along with Karen's thoughts and the poem she wrote. "Thoughts come unexpectedly. While watching the renovations, I noticed a compass on a rose. Regardless of our direction, we stand at the center, experiencing something in every direction. I wanted to showcase the compass's impact on our community. "I created a rough draft and presented it to our quilting group. I knew it would perfectly represent our Four Seasons and activities. Growing up as a "military brat," I understood the experience of having multiple homes. Finally, I found my forever home here in Four Seasons. Many residents still travel extensively, but this is where they return — home. We're incredibly fortunate to reside in this magnificent community. HOME TO YOU AND HOME TO ME." Here is her poem: e Mariners Compass guides us to our many destinations: North to the majestic Mountains, South to the vast Sea, East to the expansive Desert, West to the Ocean with the cool breeze of the horizon. Wherever destiny takes you, let the Winds return you to Four Seasons, Beaumont, California, Home to you and me. Written by Karen Reed, Sept. 7, 2025 ~ Mary M.
