Happy Campers RV Club
The Happy Camper club is
on the move. We have 12 Rigs
heading to Santee Lakes. Santee
Lakes is located in East County
of San Diego. You can come for
the day and enjoy a picnic, a day
of fishing or bring the RV and
stay a while. They have five lakes
stocked with rainbow Trout,
Catfish, and largemouth Bass. You don't need a state license just a
permit from the general store. There are dog trails and bike trails
and a swimming pool. Santee lakes offers canoes, kayaks and
paddle boats for rent. The RV park has full hook ups, tent camping
and cabins. We will be taking the trolley into Old Town San Diego
for lunch.
The trip to Arizona in January is set. We will be in Quartzite for
the big RV swap meet. January - February Borrego Springs followed
by Central Coast Wine Country RV in March.
We had seven couples from our Happy Camper group attend the
Elks National Rally at Golden Village Palms.
Happy Campers is open to all Four Seasons residents. We meet
the first Saturday of the month at 10 am. Just follow the laughter to
the Lodge Multipurpose Room.
There will be no meeting in November. Get out and enjoy the
beauty of fall. Stay safe and, as always, happy camping.
