4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | NOVEMBER 2025 Phew! Gladly, Management has been able to lock down a full team! This surely makes work easier, as we assign each member their work to help the overall team. I hope you have noticed the phenomenal advance we have made in all aspects of our duties. Jocelyne has been extremely dutiful in her new role as Property Services Manager. Taylor (not to be mistaken with myself ) has done wonders in being the face of the team as the Front Desk Concierge. The Facility Monitors have been working to ensure that the facility looks presentable and that your room set-ups, and mine, are done as they should — along with other miscellaneous tasks given throughout their shift. Irma has done a phenomenal job ensuring this Management Team we have now is a highly productive and well-oriented team. If you have a chance, please, give them the praise they deserve. We look forward to great events as well! I hope to see you there. By Pam Moe, Board Treasurer Strategic Planning: A Five-Year Roadmap for SDV Facilities Strategic Planning is an activity undertaken by an organization to define the future direction of the organization and outline a plan for resource allocation aimed at achieving intended goals. "Strategy" has many definitions, but in this case, it involves setting major goals, deciding actions necessary to achieve those goals, and ensuring that there are adequate resources (funds) to execute the plan. Why five years? A five-year timeframe is a commonly accepted starting point for a Strategic Plan. For example, in years one through three, the plan might address immediate repairs, safety issues, and deferred maintenance. In years three through four, it could focus on major repairs, such as resurfacing parking lots or upgrading sports courts. In year five, it may include aesthetic enhancements or landscape redesign. A Strategic Plan is a living document that continues well beyond its first five years. Like people, facilities age over time and require ongoing maintenance and attention. The first step is to engage in a contract with a mechanical engineer to identify our most critical needs. Our facilities' architectural plans have been digitized and sent to several engineering companies for an RFP (Request for Proposal). Hopefully, we will have a contract approved prior to year-end. Special thanks to our incredibly skilled Facilities Advisory Committee for working diligently with the Board of Directors to bring this plan to fruition. Without them, we wouldn't be this close to beginning the work. Stay tuned for more information. The Board will provide updates every month during open session meetings. Please join us on the fourth Thursday of each month to stay up to date with what's happening in your community. A Super Team By Tyler Barber, Assistant General Manager Message from the Board of Directors
