The holidays are upon us. It does not matter which holiday, if any,
that you choose to celebrate this season. As long as the decorations
are not offensive or disruptive, all homeowners are encouraged
to decorate their homes and properties. Our HOA even sponsors
a holiday lighting contest and will distribute prizes for the best
decorations in several categories.
Winter holiday lighting may not be installed earlier than one
week before Thanksgiving Day and must not be turned on before
Thanksgiving Day. All other winter holiday decorations are not
permitted before Thanksgiving Day and must be removed no later
than Jan. 15.
No Architectural Review Committee approval is required.
Holiday decorations should be temporary in nature and designed to
be removed as required after the holiday.
The holiday lighting that is being promoted by various companies
as permanent holiday lights are not allowed in our community.
Homeowners may not have holiday lights permanently attached to
their homes or other structures even if the lights are only turned on
during approved holiday seasons.
Any decoration intended to be permanent should be submitted
as yard art or a permanent improvement and does require ARC
approval utilizing the Property Improvement Application and
process.
If you have any questions, please contact me or any ARC Committee
member. ~ Steve Cooley, (801) 815-5302, cooleyaudit@gmail.

26 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2025
Architectural Review Committee
We made an inspection walk on Nov. 5 of Trail B and Potrero parcel. Trail B and the Potrero parcel areas were well maintained. The only
notable items were downed branches along the Potrero parcel perimeter along the main entrance. Management will follow up with KHov
and/or HOA maintenance to request removal as appropriate depending on responsibility boundaries.
Our next inspection walk will be on the east Edison Easement on Dec. 3 at 8 am. We will start from the northeast end of Green Creek Trail
at the Trail B entrance. We welcome all interested residents to our inspection walks. ~ Howard Ochi, Conservancy Committee Chair,
