Our 2nd Annual Canine Corral Halloween Costume Pet Parade on Oct. 31 was
a success! We had 26 entries and, in my opinion, they were all winners. But the
judges had to make a decision on first through third place and an Honorable
Mention (HM) in each of the following categories: Tiny (12 or less pounds), Small
(13-25 pounds), Medium (26-45 pounds) and Large (over 45 pounds).
The Canine Corral Steering Committee would like to thank our judges, Karen
Belcher, Karen Evans and Dimitra Nicastro for a job well done. A special thank
you goes to Luke Shelton for his fabulous emcee work and to Michael Bowen for
helping with set up, and our photographers, Bill Christelman and Howard Levine.
The Canine Corral's new Saturday and Sunday hours for organized group play
are now at 9 am until the warmer weather starts up. We are always looking for
members to join the Canine Corral Steering Committee. We meet the first Thursday
of the month at 10 am in the RCN Conference Room and the meetings only last one
hour. All our furry friends and members of the Canine Corral Steering Committee
wish everyone a very happy holiday season and health and happiness for the 2026
