FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2025 53 This is the perspective of the artist of the month, Diane Gray. "Lately, I have been trying to capture the beauty that surrounds us on our trails in Four Seasons and traveling through our nearby countryside. Every time I try something new, I learn a little bit more about how to do it better. Our instructor, Rob Kelman, has been encouraging me to not paint every little detail but to try and capture the essence of what I am seeing. In this watercolor, I painted the evening light as it strikes the trees and hills, turning everything to the rusty, golden colors that say it is 'Fall in the Pass.' "We have so many talented painters in our group. It is inspiring to see their work and just plain fun to be with them. Creativity can be very contagious. Join us, this can happen to you, too! Just imagine, it could be your painting being showcased in a future Mixed Media Art article in the Breeze." Classes are held on Mondays and Fridays from 10 am to 12 noon.
