56 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2025
The Hemet Oldlympics are held each year in mid
September into the first week of October. It began
in 1985 to promote a healthy and active lifestyle for seniors. Many
residents in Four Seasons participate in this event. Some participants
are in their 90s and compete against those of the same age. In the
photo are our ping pong players who medaled in the games. This
year the Hemet Oldlympics celebrated their 40th Anniversary and our
champions proudly wear theirs.
Ping pong is a sport that is heart healthy, improves eye and hand
coordination and leads to higher energy levels. But in my opinion
another benefit is that it is just plain fun! If you like fun and would
like to make new friends, then all you have to do is come to The Courts
Monday through Saturday, 2 to 4 pm, and we will give you a paddle and
a friendly smile. See you soon! ~ Mary Baer, baerhuggy@icloud.com
