FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2025 59 Ladies Putters It seems that the warmer weather has brought out some new gals looking to give our Ladies Putting Group a try. Now some people may think that our Four Seasons putting green is just like miniature golf, without the windmills, loops, tunnels, ramps and banked corners. But, if anyone has tried it, you'd know that even without those obstacles, it still has its idiosyncrasies and can be challenging. So, if there are any gals out there who would like a little challenge in their lives, we invite you to join us and give it a try. This is a low-impact, "high fun and very social" activity and the best part is that no experience is necessary. We have extra putters and balls if you'd like to join us. Our nine- hole putting green is located at The Courts, behind the pool area. Our putting days/times are Mondays at 4 pm and Fridays at 9 am. For more information, please contact Elaine Brown at (626) 589-9791 or Phyllis Kates at (909) 227-0037. ~ Phyllis Kates It was a really hot November and a great month for fishing. I went to Little Lake in Hemet and caught a limit of catfish. I took a picture of Eddie with our catch. We started fishing at 7:30 am and hit the limit by 9 am. Sometimes, you get lucky and catch fish like crazy. That's the beauty of fishing; you never know when you'll have an epic day. I plan to go with a fishing guide to Diamond Valley Lake to learn where to catch fish. Sometimes, you learn where the fish are biting when you go with someone who fishes there every day. After I find out, I go with my fishing buddies, rent a boat, and catch a bunch of fish. You pick up these little tricks after fishing for 65 years. I hope we have a cold winter because the trout fishing should be pretty good. The trout season begins in December and usually lasts about four months. With light tackle, you can have a lot of fun catching these delicious fish. Tight lines to all my fishing friends! And remember, when you catch a bunch of fish, share some with friends who love eating fish. Never let a good eating fish go to waste. ~ Richard Carrasco, ricarrasco52@gmail.com Fishing Group Our "Closest to the Pin without going in" competition held aer our regular rounds has been getting really competitive lately! Newcomers Judy Moyer and Karen Belcher enjoyed themselves and hope to join us as their schedules allow. Phyllis Kates represented our group at the Oldlympics Awards Ceremony and accepted medals on behalf of the other tournament winners.
