As the weather gets colder, we hope everyone stays warm and cozy. It's wonderful to see everyone getting into the festive spirit, homes twinkling with lights, and the excitement of upcoming celebrations all around us. With that in mind, we'd like to remind you that clubhouse space is limited and must be reserved through the Recreation Department during this busy time of year. Whether you're planning a small gathering, a festive party, or a cozy get-together, be sure to secure your spot early so everyone can enjoy the season safely and comfortably. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to accommodate everyone's holiday plans, and we look forward to celebrating this special season with our community. If you see a room that appears empty and would like to use it, please call the Main Clubhouse receptionist at (951) 845-2191. We'll be happy to review the day's schedule and let you know what options are available for your gathering. Our team in the Recreation Department is always here to help make your events a success! With that being said, we've been busy preparing a fun-filled lineup of events for the upcoming months, there's truly something for everyone! • Tree Lighting • Holiday Golf Cart Parade • Holiday Home Decorating Contest • New Year's Eve Party Message From The Recreation Department Dec. 1, Main Clubhouse Ballroom: Come out to the Main Clubhouse parking lot to view the beautifully-decorated District Christmas Trees at 4:30 pm. Then, at 5 pm sharp, watch as the trees spark to life with holiday lights. Afterwards, head into the Main Clubhouse for hot cider and hot chocolate, cookies, and holiday entertainment. Let's celebrate the season together! Dec. 10, in the Main Clubhouse Bus Room: Thank you to all the districts who selected Families for the Holiday Wish Program. Those who wish to drop off the gifts in the Main Clubhouse Bus Room, please bring your gifts to the Bus Room on Wed., Dec. 10 between 8:30 am and 12 pm. To ensure that your gifts are delivered to the proper family, please make sure they are boxed and labeled with the family number. Let's light up Sun Lakes with some holiday spirit! This contest is open to all residents of Sun Lakes. If you'd like to register your home, please do so at the Main Clubhouse Reception Desk. The deadline to register is Dec. 4. Judging will be conducted by the Recreation Committee during the week of Dec. 6 - 10, beginning each evening at 6:30 pm. There will be awards and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Winners will be announced on Dec. 12 during the Holiday Golf Cart Parade. District Tree Lighting Holiday Outdoor Home Decorating Contest Holiday Wish Program Dec. 12, 5:30 pm, Main Clubhouse: The Recreation Department is bringing back the Holiday Golf Cart Parade! If you would like to register your golf cart, please register at the Main Clubhouse with the Receptionist; the deadline to register is Dec. 5.
