We look forward to performing at the District Tree Lighting Holiday Program, celebrating the season together! After the District Trees are lit in the parking lot of the Main Clubhouse, Sun Lakers can head inside for hot cider, hot chocolate, cookies, and fantastic entertainment by the "Lady Tappers" and other groups, including Spectrum Dancers from Beaumont. Then, to everyone's delight, Santa Claus will appear to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! If you're interested in starting the new year tap dancing up a storm and performing in next year's Follies, Jeann invites you to her "Beginners Class" on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 12 noon in the North Clubhouse. Another Halloween and another funtastic IDS celebration. This year's party hostesses were Pattula Benton and Rosa Macon. They decorated the South Clubhouse with a fare-thee-well theme, arranged for a delicious meal, provided favors for all and prizes for best, most original, scariest, and best couples costumes. Did they have help? Of course they did. So we thank Pattula, Rosa, and their unnamed but much appreciated helpers. Frank Benton emceed and DJed like a boss. Thank you, Frank. There was lots of dancing and a good time was had by all. If you wonder why there were so many cowgirls, it's because we couldn't resist dressing the part to do our new favorite line dance.
