| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2025 | 47 If you have a classic car, love to ride or sit in one, talk about, or just look at one, you need to join our club! We have no membership fees or dues, and our meetings are once a month and very short. We begin at 9:30 am on the first Saturday of every month in the parking lot of the Main Clubhouse. We display our cars and talk shop, announce car shows, discuss upcoming activities and events, and then go out together for breakfast. Men and women, husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, we welcome you all. We're all about fun and good fellowship, and we're looking for new members to share our good vibe. You don't even need to own a classic car. Come join us and expand your social life! For more information, contact Rell Snyder at (949) 235-4314 or rell1953@hotmail.com. Cruzin' Cronies In keeping with the holiday season, the Garden Club is sponsoring a free (except for a $5 reservation fee) holiday brunch for our members on Dec. 10 at 10 am. Doors to the Main Clubhouse Ballroom will open at 9:30 am. We're happy to welcome back the Beaumont High School band. The band performed for us at our holiday luncheon last year and it was a total delight. Our celebration this year will include the installation of the new board officers for the 2026-27 term. We wish to express our appreciation to the current term's officers: President Beverly Agner, Vice President Barbara Maslowski, Treasurer Barbara Elness, and Secretary Maureen Keeney for their consistently excellent dedication the last four years. Thank you as well to the new officers: President Barbara Maslowski, First Vice President Beverly Agner, Second Vice President Jan Flammang, Treasurer Barbara Ball, and Secretary Linda Myers-Kalb for their willingness to serve as Board officers for the next two years. It seems a perfect time for a long-overdue expression of gratitude to the Door-Prize Committee co-chairs, Suzi Messick, LaNelle Neet, and Pam Mikkelsen (photo below) for the last several years have picked up the f lowers (generously donated by Cherry Valley Nursery) for the door prizes. They set them up for display before every membership meeting so we are greeted with a beautiful display of colorful blooms when we arrive, and during the break they help the lucky winners collect their prizes. All three have been active members of the Garden Club, and both Suzi and LaNelle for more than 20 years. Suzi and LaNelle will hand the task over to the 2026 committee chairs so we want to acknowledge their dedicated efforts with an appreciative thank you. If you have membership questions, call one of our membership Co-Chairs Linda Powers at (562) 400-0541 or Sherry Case at (951) 533-3584. Our President Beverly Agner at (951) 306-7379 is always ready to answer your questions. Pat Pennington, (951) 314-9229, loves to talk about vegetable gardening and is also happy to answer vegetable gardening questions. And if you have fruit tree(s) in need of picking, contact Joy Bailey at (951) 845-5540. The produce will go to local charities. Wishing one and all a happy holiday season. Garden Club
