60 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2025 | The Executive Men's Golf Club wishes all Sun Lakes residents a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2026. We had a very exciting November with a Challenge Cup Tournament against the Men's Golf Club (results will be posted next month) and our final Club tournament — a Two-Man Better Ball format on the 21st. At our annual member meeting the membership approved the extension of the Board of Directors through 2026 and enjoyed a Thanksgiving lunch with all the trimmings. The club usually goes dark in December, meaning there are no golfing activities scheduled. Our Christmas Holiday Dinner is scheduled for Dec. 4, and an organizational Board meeting is scheduled for the same morning. Other than those two events, it's regular play on Friday mornings on the beautiful and challenging Executive Course. The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop. We now offer an Associate Membership to all male residents that no longer play golf but want to enjoy the camaraderie of former and current golfers at our non-golfing activities. The Associate Membership is $15 for the year, a bargain at half the price of our regular membership of $30. You can also contact our Membership Chairman, Mike Volz, at (818) 310-1950. You can also contact our Saturday Morning Golf As the end of the year approaches, we start making our resolutions for next year! So why not make yours to get more exercise and meet new people? Our Saturday morning golf group is open to everyone of all levels. We have monthly tournaments and weekly games and best of all quarterly dinners. We just had our final quarterly dinner where we awarded trophies to our club champions, pictures to follow, next month. Also our new board will be announced the first of the year.
