| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2025 | 61 Ladies Executive Golf Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone from all of us! We celebrated the season at our luncheon in the Ballroom. The event was very festive with all the holiday decorations created by our talented social committee. We want to thank all the ladies on our social committee for their hard work and creativity in making it a special day for everyone. It also gave our members a chance to dress in their best holiday attire. The installation of our 2026 Board members took place at the luncheon. We welcome them and look forward to their leadership and creative ideas to improve our club. We finished our golf season with the Trick or Treat and Turkey Shoot tournaments. Congratulations to all the winners! We will take December off to celebrate with family and friends. If you haven't renewed your 2026 membership, you can pick up a form at the North Clubhouse and drop off your check there. Our annual membership dues are $25 per year, and we also offer an Associate Membership for $10 for those who don't play golf but want to attend all social events and luncheon meetings. Women's Golf The Sun Lakes Women's Golf Club is an 18-hole club that plays every Thursday on the Championship Course. Our membership includes golfers of all ages and abilities who share the love of golf and love to have fun. We play easy games, interesting tournaments, and specific competitions. On the second Thursday of every month, we have a luncheon and general meetings at the Main Clubhouse. We invite you to join us and become part of the only 18-hole Women's Club within Sun Lakes. It's a great way to meet like-minded golfers, hone your skills, and have a blast while doing it! For information, contact Mo Farra, Membership Chair, at (714) 292-4056. The newly-elected officers for 2026 are President Judy Jones, Vice President Donna Schein, Secretary Rita Nelson, and Treasurer Sandy Cooper. Looking forward to a great year! We play nine holes every Thursday morning on the Championship Course from the gold tees so no need to be a big hitter. And more importantly our members play for fun and the camaraderie of our fellow Niners. We take the game seriously but we don't take ourselves seriously.
