| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2025 | 63 Weren't we fortunate to have an "Indian Summer," with great weather extending deep into November? It gave us time to enjoy great golf and fun times. And now, we're on the countdown to the holidays and the rest of the year, and looking forward in 2026 to a full schedule of great events. November was filled with memorable moments. Among them were the Mixed Pinehurst, with the Men's and Ladies' Clubs providing us with a really fun day. Last year's champions Sheri Little and Jeff Ranieri tried to defend their title, but the team of Ian Platt and Kimberly Kim emerged victorious. Congratulations. Congratulations also go to Bob Blair on not only winning the Club Championship again this year, but also being inducted into the Men's Golf Club Hall of Fame. Our upcoming tournaments are: Dec. 3: The Jack Dutton Tournament of Champions/Gold Tee Tournament. Dec. 20: Sun Lakes Safari #2 four-man tournament Jan. 7: Four-man Scramble (ABCD computer draw) While the tournament schedule for 2026 is still being finalized, there are going to be many fun and exciting events coming your way. More social events like the popular Beef and Brew are being added, along with a variety of events that are sure to have something for everyone. So, come join us for 2026. Now is a great time to join. Dues are $81 which includes the SCGA fee and are being collected now; 2026 is calling you. As the year winds down, we thank everyone who has made our year enjoyable … from the guys in the Pro Shop who work hard to give us a great golf experience, the golf course maintenance crew who provide us with a beautiful course, to the Men's Club Board and all the members who have contributed of themselves to make this year great … thank you! Make it your New Year's resolution to take advantage of our amazing course, play more golf, and join and participate in the Sun Lakes Men's Golf Club.
