| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2025 | 65 This year has quickly passed us by. The Sun Lakes RV Club went on several wonderful, fun-filled camping trips, a couple get-togethers, and we're looking forward to another year of traveling and fun. We held our annual business meeting in October where several items were discussed and voted upon. First and foremost was to elect a new President and Secretary and give thanks to Leon and Harriet Fikse for their guidance and hard work in being President of the RV Club for the past two years. Our new President is Lupe Cardella, and our new Secretary is Susie Martin. Sandi and Richard Fetterman will complete their last year as Treasurer, Lyn and Bob Schive will also remain as VP for the next year. Leon presented Lupe with the President Badge and played the song "Thanks for the Memories" as he passed the badge. It was suggested to create the new position on the Board of Wagon Master. A possible job description was also discussed. Motion was made and passed to create this position; Tammy Mahoney has volunteered to be the Wagon Master for 2025-2026. This position will organize future rallies and be the contact person for future Trail Bosses. If anyone is in need of a name tag or placard for their rigs, the new process is to contact Pam Drummond and make arrangements for ordering and paying for them. Pam can be contacted at (909) 255-4388. Don't forget our annual Christmas party is on Dec. 7 in the South Clubhouse. More info to follow. Dates for 2026: Home Rally: Jan. 31 to Feb. 1 Yuma: The end-of-year party for Snow Birds is March 27, so if you plan to go, you can schedule accordingly. Hemet Rally: April 16-21. This week there will be numerous activities available. Trail Bosses are Robin and Colin Pay. Our Birthday Wishes go out to our members born in December. They are, Jim Alexanian 12/8, John Bonagofsky 12/26, Brenda Day 12/1, Candi Christopher 12/27, Fran Rayner 12/5. May each of you have a wonderful birthday. will organize future rallies and be the contact person for future Trail Bosses. RV Club WWW (Water Weights Workout) Fall is here. Keep in shape even as the weather turns colder by joining WWW water aerobics for FREE. We meet at the South Clubhouse indoor pool Monday through Friday at 4 pm using water weights. Our sessions are led by wonderful volunteers doing a set of exercises designed to tone all your muscles. Come join us and make new friends while improving your health!
