Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Above are a couple of the Veterans' quilts we gave to our Veterans. Show and share is always a fun thing we do here at our meetings. The month when we all have way too much to do but it's still fun anyway. We, as paper crafting enthusiasts, seem to be conjuring up so many ideas of new creations for our homes, our friends, and ourselves. Such a fun time of year. As one of the three party planners for our Paper Crafting group's holiday party, I am especially excited to be involved in this fun endeavor this year. To begin with just a vision of what might evolve, then seeing it become a reality is energizing and fulfilling. Debbie Brown, Elaine Perkins and I have been throwing ideas back and forth for a couple months now, and we can't wait to create a special night for our group to enjoy. If you have the opportunity to get involved with putting something together for the holidays, you will be amazed at the pleasure it brings. And speaking of that, please be thinking about who will step up to volunteer for next year's Paper Crafting party! It's fun, it creates memories, and it provides an opportunity to be imaginative and original. Our November lunch was enjoyed by many of us, even though there was no one celebrating a birthday that month. We still go ahead and get together, as we relish socializing and eating! Our luncheon this month will be on Thurs., Dec. 11 in the Main Clubhouse Restaurant at 11:30. Our regular Monday meetings will be on Dec. 1, 15, 22, and 29, from 1 to 3 pm. The second Monday only, Dec. 8, the time will be 11 am to 1 pm. Mark your calendars! We wish everyone a very happy and healthy holiday season.
