Wow, Thanksgiving has come and gone and 2025 is almost over! Our Night Glow Ball on the championship putting green was a great success. Thanks to Linda Spaulding, Gayle Bilek, and the Pro Shop for setting up the greens for us. What a fun event! In December, we are dark! Jan. 25, 2026: Back by popular demand the NFL playoffs and Chili Cook-off will be held at the South Clubhouse. Cost is $10 per person. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third places for the best chili. Time to be determined. We'll send out a f lyer with all the details. March: Bocce May: Cinco de Mayo annual golf tournament July: Del Mar September: Murder Mystery November: Hockey at Acrisure Arena These are tentative activities. If there's something you'd like us to include as an event, please let us know. Don't forget, if you paid your dues toward the end of the year, your membership will be valid until the end of 2026. If you haven't paid your dues, they need to be paid by the beginning of January to attend our events. Membership dues are still only $10 per person. Remember, our events are every other month, not monthly. If there are events you'd like Young at Heart to host, please email your ideas to crystalwater@dc.rr.com. Thomas Catering will tempt your palate with a delicious spread of succulent ham with fruit sauce, yams, creamy scalloped potatoes, peas and carrots, a green salad, and warm buttery bread. A scrumptious dessert will also be served. Note: If you do not eat ham, please write 'chicken' on your check, and we will ensure you receive a chicken entrée.
