Over the seams and through the needle, to the binding's edge
we go. e long arm knows the way to avoid the fray, stitching
through the white and uy batting.
Over the fabric and through many colors, Oh how the pattern
takes shape! It thrills the designer and tantalizes the senses, as
over the swirls we go.
Over each block and through each seam, forming its own
unique design. Oh, hear the punching of the needle, "Pop, pop,
pop!" Hurrah for another Quilt quilted!
Over the freeways and through the hills, drive faster my little
four-wheel drive sleigh! Sprint through the toll booths like ten
lords a-leaping, for this is another day for shopping!
Over the white lines, aiming for the carpool lane, to the Quilt
Shops we abound. Quilters know the way to carry the sleigh,
through holiday crowds and Christmas shoppers.
More fabrics to buy, with threads to match, patterns we collect,
as the excitement mounts. With bags overowing, and feet
itching to nd the presser foot, we're over the moon and down the
chimney where Santa awaits. Another project is underway!
Yes, Quilters know the way; to ll their sleighs, in whimsical
creativity. From the depths of our passions to the soaring
rooops of our imaginations, quilt block stars twinkle brightly
under expertly placed needles, "Pop, pop, pop!" And to All a Good
Night…

Seasons Quilters meets every Thursday in the Arts & Crafts Room
from 10 am to 4 pm breaking for lunch at the Bistro at 12:30 pm.
