Good News Bocce Players The bocce courts have been renovated by Harvest Landscape and they have roller tilled and packed down all four courts for the 2026 bocce season. If we get just a little rain to help with compacting the soil down a little more, the courts should be ready for the new bocce season. A little practice before the bocce club starts up could be helpful to see how well you will need to adjust to the new condition of the courts. February will be the month we start sign-ups with a power point presentation. This would be helpful for everyone to attend if you can, we do mention some dos and don'ts that are not on the regular 13 rule sheet. Not only that, you can see who you will need to play against. We do have some tough teams each year. Hope to see some familiar teams and some new one's also. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson (951) 926-8295 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2025 | 31 Horseshoes Shuffleboard Our season is winding down, can you believe it? The club participates with the Hemet Valley Pool Club; we host and travel to other 55+ communities and have tournaments with other teams. The game of choice is 1-15, it is a form of 8 Ball and it is a lot of fun. We are also interested in enlisting a few more players for our club. If this interests you, please come on out and join us for a morning of billiards. ~ Art Martel, Team Captain, (909) 973-8208 We are a friendly group! Folks are on the courts most mornings, 9 am in colder weather and 8 am when it's going to get warm! Tennis Club Low Impact Aerobics Happy Holidays! I cannot believe it is December already. Hopefully you will have lots of good times with family and friends – time with lots of good food. Now would be a good time to get a head start against all those holiday calories. Walk Fit Class is a good way to start. A full hour of aerobic walking burns about 350 calories. (3 times a week is 1050 calories.) The class consists of nine different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" DVDs. The easy-to-follow routines are set to music with varying tempos. The complete class is four miles, but you can come late or leave early to shorten your routine and work at your own level. A few of the DVDs incorporate resistance bands (always optional). Some class members add light hand weights for added strength training. Stop by and give us a try. New members are always welcome, both men and women! Class Schedule: Mon., Wed., Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in The Lodge Ballroom. Class is free!
