head. e winners got a handy front-of-the-line pass. e biggest event for the Association, the New Year's Eve event, named
Winter Wonderland, is coming up. e seating chart is now ready for you to pick seats with your friends and neighbors. Winter
Wonderland is sure to be a blast with a new band, a new caterer, and some wonderful decorations. See you there!

e Welcome Committee hosted a New Resident Meet and
Greet on Oct. 25. Attendees were treated to donuts and coee as
Irma demonstrated how to navigate the SDV website, showing
the new residents how to access the various information available
to them. Representatives from all six committees spoke about
their committee and any groups or clubs they were involved
in and also answered questions from the audience. Members
from the Veterans and Friends Club and the Volunteer Group
were also on hand to speak about their involvement in our
community and inform new residents how they can become
active members. Several Board members and other residents
were also present to help welcome our newest residents.
