30 | LIFE IN SOLERA | DECEMBER 2025 | Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and Happy Kwanzaa from your Solera RV Group. We've had a great year of camping and socializing. Our Christmas wish is that you join our little group. We're a fun group that likes to go on adventures near and far. Friends and family are welcomed to tag along with us. Got pets? Bring them too. We love our fur babies. RVers consider our fellow campers as family. Problem with your rig you say? Never fear. Our fellow semi-qualified campers are always there to lend a hand with a repair or two. We'll get you back on the road in no time. We will be camping in nearby Ranch Jurupa Regional Park from Dec. 7 to Dec. 11. We will have our annual Christmas luncheon on Dec. 9 at Ancho's Restaurant in Riverside. Ancho's is a very nice Tex- Mex restaurant. The star of Ancho's restaurant is their unique flour tortilla machine that makes the most delicious flour tortillas. The tortillas are served complimentary with butter or can be dipped into Ancho's fantastic homemade salsa. Join us if you happen to be near downtown Riverside on Dec. 9. Back to Rancho Jurupa. Rancho Jurupa Regional Park operates two campgrounds, camping cabins, a water slide, miniature golf, disc golf, a general store, two fishing lakes and hiking trails. The RV Group will be camped at the Cottonwood campground in the 200 area. Stop by and enjoy a campfire with us. Rancho Jurupa Regional Park is near Mt. Rubidoux. Mt. Rubidoux offers some of the best views of Riverside. Tentatively scheduled is a trip to the Phenix Fire Helmet Museum. The Cheech Museum will amaze visitors with its collection of art. No visit to Rancho Jurupa can be complete without stops to Tio's Tacos for lunch and Flabob Airport Café for breakfast. In January, some of our group members will be traveling to Quartzsite, Arizona. In February we'll have a group campout to Coachella Lakes Campground. We will try to get one more group camping trip in before our summer break. Our summer break allows our members to take some trips on their own to explore and relax. Ready to join us? We meet the second Friday of every month at 3 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room.
