ACRYLIC PAINTING
Solera 4x4 is a group dedicated to providing
opportunities for Solera residents who have 4x4
street-legal vehicles, including Jeeps, Broncos,
Tacomas, Fords, Chevys, and others, to enjoy time
on the road together.
We meet, usually, on the second Wednesday of
the month at 4:30 pm in the Clubhouse, and the
gatherings usually last for 30 to 45 minutes. We
discuss a myriad of subjects, mostly where we'd like
to travel in SoCal.
We typically head to a destination on Tuesdays or Wednesdays
around 9:30 or 10 am for lunch and return soon after, so the trips
are not of a very long duration unless we head to Borrego or some
similar destination.
Recent trips include the metal statues in Borrego, Wrightwood, and
to the Patton Museum on Chiriacco Summit off the
10. We've visited Joshua Tree NP and Slab City at the
Salton Sea as well. Once in a while, and randomly,
we'll take off on a ride on an easy dirt trail in our
local areas, usually a forest road or a maintenance
road of some kind. Most trails are rated 1-10 and if
we do a dirt trail we'll tackle the 1's and 2's.
We typically head to a destination on Tuesdays
or Wednesdays around 9:30 or 10 am for lunch and
return soon after, so the trips are not of a very long duration unless
we head to Borrego or some similar destination.
We hope you can visit a meeting soon. If you have any questions,
please text me, Tom Addis, at (858) 775-7421, call the same number,
or email me at taddis@pgahq.com. Hope to hear from you and see
you soon.
