| THE COLONY NEWS | DECEMBER 2025 | 3 From the Desk of Glenn Gerber Writing this "From the Desk Of " article is my first official assignment since my election in September. I am happy to be given this opportunity to communicate with all of you, and to thank you for electing me to serve you by being a member of our HOA Board. I do not take this responsibility lightly and am humbled and honored to serve our community in this capacity. The Colony is such a wonderful place to live, with so much to do and so many great people. Please know that I will do my best to represent all of you. I have served on many boards throughout my career, some good, some not so good. However, I am pleased to report to all of you, that our Colony HOA Board is up there with the top of all the boards on which I have served. I am challenged by them to serve faithfully and with wisdom. In my short time on the Board, I have also witnessed this same dedication to service by our staff. They take customer service seriously and put the resident first. They will go above and beyond to make sure our residents are treated fairly, and with respect. During my campaign I mentioned that all my decisions will be made through these three filters: (1) Protect Property Values; (2) Ensure Quality of Life; and (3) Practice Fiscal Responsibility. I believe that by practicing these three themes, our community will continue to f lourish and grow for all of us today and in the future. In a few weeks we will celebrate Christmas. I pray you will all spend time with loved ones and enjoy this joyous season. May your heart be light, your days be merry, and your home shine with the warmth of family and friends.
