The District Tree Lighting on Dec. 1 officially
kicked off the Christmas season here at
Sun Lakes. The gathering that followed had
something for everyone: festive decorations, refreshments, music,
dancing … always a pleasure.
This year the IDS Hawaiian dancers performed Rock Around
the Christmas Tree, choreographed by Diane Avina and Sarah
Thornberry. The IDS Jazz group performed Jingle Bell Rock from
the movie Mean Girls.
Happy New Year from all of us to all of you! Suggested 2026
