Billiards
As a fresh, new year begins, so does our next 8-Ball League
Season. Beginning on Jan. 15, it will run through May. Eight teams
will vie for a spot on the Sun Lakes Billiards Room plaque wall.
Dating back to 2012, the 8-Ball Group has immortalized those who
have played and won with the inscriptions of team and players
names.
In December, the four finalist teams competed in the semi-finals,
followed by the final round. The teams were Any Pocket led by
Dennis Sims, Crackin' Racks led by Duane Vieira, Full Tilt led by
John Mursa and Rack 'Em led by Steve Brown. The ultimate 2025
winner was determined on Dec. 11 and will be posted in our next
article.
Billiards is a welcoming community that supports new players
and skill growth in an enjoyable atmosphere. We meet Monday
through Friday at 12 noon for social play and Thursday for league
