FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2026 7 Happy 2026, everyone! This is a great year for trying new things and focusing on health and fitness. To kick off your new health journey, you might be interested in checking out our Four Seasons TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) group. Details are listed in this Breeze issue. Healthy eating is always more fun when inspired by a group. Join us Saturday, Jan. 24 from 10 am to 12:30 pm in the Ballroom for our Annual Fitness Expo. It's a great chance to see demonstrations of the various "For-The-Health-Of-It" classes offered at our facilities. Find a class that matches your fitness level and inspires you to attend. For all you crafters, our Spring Craft Fair will be Saturday, March 21 from 9 am to 2 pm in the Ballroom. If you want to sell your handmade items, you must attend the Mandatory Craft Fair Lottery on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 6 pm in the RCN. If you can't make it, you may send a representative to stand in for you. The table fee remains $5 after all these years. I also want to remind everyone about some new year updates for clubs, groups, and classes. If you have a change of Club Captain or Group Leader, please call Luke in the Activities Department to get a form to update your contacts. If you need f lyers or tickets for events, we have a "Media Request Form" for those services. I've been tasked with conducting an annual review of all clubs, groups, and classes regarding group size and room allocation, ensuring that as groups grow or shrink, we assign the right room size. Your scheduled days and times won't change, but you may be moved to a different room if needed. Since it's a new year and new residents might be looking for new activities, I suggest appointing one of your most friendly and outgoing members to greet and welcome newcomers. Several shy newcomers have mentioned feeling a bit intimidated when entering new groups. You folks are the best and I want new residents to immediately see how wonderful this neighborhood is! There's a new interest group called "Loss of a Spouse." If you've recently lost your spouse and want some support, they will review a book and a video on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 1 to 4 pm in RCN Room #3. This isn't a replacement for our current Bereavement Group, just an extra resource. Sign up at The Lodge credenza if you're interested. Be sure to check out the 2026 events calendar so you can save the dates for events you're most interested in. We expect to know in February who our next Amphitheater Concert series bands will be, so stay tuned for more exciting updates! Get ready for your best year yet! Let the festivities begin! ~ Cindy Graves ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR'S REPORT
