Facilities Committee
Completion of 2025 Renovation Initiatives: As 2026 begins,
the Facilities Committee is pleased to announce the successful
conclusion of several major renovation projects launched in 2025.
Notably, the installation of soundproofing panel pictures in the
Ballroom has been completed, marking the official finish of
improvements to The Lodge Ballroom.
Another significant milestone is the re-paving of The Courts
pool deck, a project expected to be finalized by late 2025. This
improvement will not only enhance the safety of the area but also
contribute to the overall appearance and enjoyment of The Courts.
Additionally, the ceiling at The Summit is scheduled to be
painted by early spring 2026. With the completion of this final
detail, all planned renovations for The Summit will be wrapped up,
signifying a successful end to the committee's renovation efforts at
The Summit.
Looking Ahead for 2026 Initiatives: The committee's first meeting
of 2026 is set for Jan. 14. At this meeting, members will review
the accomplishments of the past year and begin discussions on
potential new projects for the upcoming year. There is also renewed
enthusiasm among committee members to reinstate the tradition of
bi-annual walkabouts, where members tour the facilities to identify
areas needing attention or improvement.
Regular committee meetings are scheduled for the second
Wednesday of each month at 9 am in the RCN Conference Room.
