FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2026 43 Happy New Year! Another year has f lown by, and what a year it was. Our travel group enjoyed wonderful trips, created lasting memories, and welcomed several new residents who joined us on our most recent excursions. We're excited to share that 2026 is shaping up to be just as fun and adventurous, with a lineup of new and interesting trips for everyone to enjoy. We begin the year in January with a visit to Exposition Park, where you'll have the opportunity to explore one — or all — of three remarkable museums: the California Science Center, the Natural History Museum, and the California African American Museum. Spend the day discovering fascinating exhibits at your own pace, and enjoy lunch on your own before we head back to Four Seasons. In February, we're off to the Grammy Museum, a must-see destination for all music lovers. This interactive museum offers hands-on exhibits that celebrate music history, creativity, and artistry. Afterward, we'll stop at Olvera Street, where you can shop, stroll, and enjoy lunch on your own in one of Los Angeles' most iconic cultural districts. These outings are just the beginning. We have many more trips planned throughout the year, and detailed f lyers for each excursion will be available at our monthly meetings. Our meetings are held every third Saturday of the month at 10 am in the Ballroom, and everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a member to join our trips. Just bring your enthusiasm, and feel free to bring a friend along for the adventure. We look forward to traveling with you in 2026 and making even more unforgettable memories together! In December, we celebrated several birthdays, saw our walking group grow, participated in Bistro Bingo, played cornhole, and got together for our annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange. We attended A Christmas Festival, the San Bernardino Symphony's annual holiday concert, and A CBU Christmas at Cal Baptist University. In January, we will tour East Valley Water District's new, state-of-the-art Sterling Natural Resource Center. A future outing will be a visit to the iconic Watts Towers in Los Angeles. If these sound like activities you'd enjoy and you're single, we'd love to see you at one of our future meetings. We meet on the first Friday of the month at 6 pm in the RCN.
