30 | LIFE IN SOLERA | JANUARY 2026 |
QUILTERS
The Christmas trees in the Clubhouse
hallway were stunning! The quilters
were lucky enough to win First Place. All
thanks to the hard work of two "Quilting
Sisters," Bianca Ralston and Leanne
Chase. They asked us to contribute what
we had for the decorations, then went to
work putting it all together. We had our
annual Christmas party and gift exchange
on the 15th, a great time. We have so
many lovely, giving ladies in our group.
Please consider joining us on Mondays at
noon in the Arts & Crafts Room.
e acrylic painting class is held every Monday aernoon from 3:15 to approximately 5 pm. Solera is fortunate to have Judy Hale
leading the sessions. Judy is a talented artist and she's generously donating her time to share her expertise with us.
ACRYLIC PAINTING
Knit and Crochet members
are busy having fun,
conversation and completing
sweaters and a shawl as
shown by Caryl, Olive and
Rafea. Becky is working on
an adorable baby sweater,
and Carolyn and Shirley
needle happy too while
sharing laughs and stories
with our group. We also
have new member Lee who
already is showing knitting
talent completing her first
project, a knit purse, and
onto a winter scarf next. So
if you're in to starting a new
craft for 2026, come check us
out Thursdays 10 am to 12
noon.
