December's Sunshine Kindness Award was presented to Mari Salizar of FirstService Residential by Margie Culton, for her dedication to Jeanne Lincoln during a recent fall. Mari stayed with Jeanne to ensure she received proper care. She went above and beyond to watch over our community's beloved friend, Precious! Thank you, Mari! Teams Sunshine Events At the time of this writing, these events were planned for December. Veterans Affairs - Dec. 9: Michael Bailey, Marine Veteran and Community Liaison of the Riverside County Veterans Services, joined us for an informative presentation on Veterans Affairs. Vintage Voices Christmas Concert - Dec. 13: Vintage Voices provided the musical and vocal talent; Sunshine provided the hot chocolate and yummies, and our entire community provided the good cheer as we rejoice in this heartfelt holiday gathering. Worldwide Candle Lighting Memorial Service - Dec. 14: As candles were lit, hundreds of thousands of people commemorated and honor the memory of all children gone too soon. Team Sunshine Welcome Packets: Our Sunshine Welcome Team visited several new resident homes in early November with a cheery and robust Welcome Packet of valuable community info and goodies. e Caring Connection: We are saddened to learn of the recent passings of Paul O'Neil, Jonathan Good, and Norm Boehm. Team Sunshine has reached out to the families to offer condolences and assistance. If you have a Four Seasons friend or neighbor who is struggling with illness, loss or needs a bit of cheer, please notify us so we may send them a card and follow up with a phone call.
