| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2026 | 3 General Manager's Message Board Meeting Dates: The Executive Session Meeting is scheduled for Jan. 26, at 11:30 am and Jan. 28, at 9 am. The Open Session Meeting is scheduled for Jan. 28, at 1 pm. Upcoming: Please keep your eyes open on the calendar and different e-blasts and communications the HOA will be sending out. We have quite a few big projects underway that we will be seeking community input on. Please ensure that you are not just deleting the communications so that you can be in the know for upcoming projects and presentations. Legends Homeowners - UPDATE: As you may know, if you are part of the Legends SBA, the Association maintains your landscaping. The area we know as the East Legends is watered with potable water. California passed a law AB1572 which requires "non-functional" turf areas to be removed by 2029. Our Landscape Committee has been working diligently to work out a plan with our vendor to help us transition as painlessly as possible. To date, we have had an audit by EMWD and have had renderings submitted to us by the vendor and there may be a meeting set up this month to provide information to our residents. Please keep your eyes open for this update! New Year, New Dues: The budget was approved last year, so please keep in mind that your Master Dues have been updated from $184 to $214 starting the beginning of this year. The Legends cost center of $48 was not increased, so Legends owners would be paying a total of $262 starting Jan. 1, 2026. Final Notes for January: As we enter into a new year, let's make sure to thank those around you that have impacted your life and remember to always choose kindness to your neighbors and friends and the workers here at The Lodge. Remember to please strive to keep this community great and if there is something that you notice on the common areas that need addressing, please fill out that communication form so that the respective committee can address it. Remember that we have so many residents that volunteer their time to help this community run smoothly and to thank them for their commitment! Let's have another great year! By Jon Payne, CMCA Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, Riverside County IHSS (In-Home Supportive Services) caregivers will receive a wage increase to $18.90 per hour, following a tentative agreement reached by SEIU Local 2015, United Domestic Workers (UDW), and the County. This raise is an important step forward and reflects the essential, compassionate work IHSS providers perform every day. IHSS providers deliver vital in-home care and personal services to seniors and individuals with disabilities — support that allows them to remain safely in their homes and avoid unnecessary hospitalization or skilled nursing placement. I have witnessed the impact of their dedication firsthand within my own family. As we enter 2026, I remain firmly committed to supporting those who care for the wellbeing of our seniors and our disabled community. Wishing you and your loved ones a healthy and prosperous New Year. Supervisor's Message By Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez
