| OHCC LIVING | JANUARY 2026 | 15 Turn Up the Fun (Just Not Too Loud!): Celebrating Our First Fabulous Year! As we step into 2026, Let's Dance Club proudly celebrates the end of a spectacular first year! In 2025, we opened our doors, turned up the soft oldies, and discovered just how ready our OHCC community was to dance. By the close of the year, we welcomed an amazing 424 members - an incredible milestone that filled our gatherings with energy, laughter, and many memorable evenings together. Now, as we begin our second season, we invite all members - both returning and new- to join us on Do Dues Day - Sat., Jan. 10. It's the perfect opportunity to secure your membership, reconnect with friends, and make new friends! We are also pleased to introduce ourselves as the newly elected 2026 Board of Directors: Sue Silva, President; Diane Rorabaugh, Vice-President; Sherrie Scoby, Secretary; and Karla Sando, Treasurer. We promise that our dedication and enthusiasm will guide our club through another year of smooth, well organized, and enjoyable events. And the fun is just beginning because we have 10 exciting dance events planned for 2026! This year's lineup features a wonderful mix of entertainment, including live bands and DJs who will keep the music flowing all night long. Expect soft oldies, lively favorites, a touch of good old rock 'n' roll, line dancing, and popular classics. As always, the music will be played at a festive yet comfortable volume for both dancing and conversation. Cheers to another wonderful year of music, friendship, and unforgettable nights together! Written by the Board of Directors of the Let's Dance Club Let's Dance As we look forward to the new year of 2026, we are reminded of the wonderful time we shared during our Christmas season. Having Santa in the Lanai was a highlight for children, parents, grandparents, and even great-grandparents. Families brought their little ones to have their picture taken, and some grandparents took photos with Santa to send to family members who could not attend because of distance. What fun we had! This year's "Children Visit Santa" event was even bigger than last year, and the decorations were absolutely beautiful. We plan to save them for next year — and add even more! As we enter the new year, the Board hosted its annual party for members, which included the election of the 2026 Board of Directors. Their names are listed below, followed by the scheduled event dates for 2026.
