30 | OHCC LIVING | JANUARY 2026 | Pet Lovers Club We currently have 320 members (199 households). During the year, along with dues per household of $10, we received some very generous donations. This allowed us to send year-end donations of $1,700 to the same local charities that we donated to last year. This is our 5th year of our "Presents for Pets" event. We were able to fill 36 gift bags for the AniMeals recipients with cats and dogs. The bags contained a calendar, holiday cards, treats and toys, 11 special requested items and the equivalent of $50 in gift cards for each of the 36 clients. It was fun putting together the bags with the help of Maria McSweeney, Gail Hyams, Karen Hastings and Ellen Kippel. The club dues will remain at $10 per household. Please make out the check to OHCC Pet Lovers Club and leave the check at the Clubhouse front desk or at the PLC table on Do Dues Day Jan. 10. Also, please let us know if there is any change in your information for your household including all household members. Ocean Hills Wine Tasting Club announces 2026 Event Schedule As we look forward to another year of friendship, flavor, and unforgettable evenings, the Ocean Hills Wine Tasting Club is delighted to announce its 2026 schedule of events. Whether you're a longtime member or joining us for the first time, this year's lineup promises exceptional wines, warm community, and the lively social spirit our club is known for. Do Dues Day - Jan. 10: The new year begins with our annual membership Do Dues Day on Sat., Jan. 10. If you are already a Wine Club member, you can renew your membership in advance at the Clubhouse or you can stop by the Wine Club table in Abravanel Hall between 10 am and 2 pm. The annual dues are still only $15. New Member Orientation - Feb. 6: On Feb. 6, the Wine Tasting Club will host its Orientation Night, welcoming new members and introducing them to the Board of Directors and Coordinators. The evening will include an introduction to tasting etiquette, an overview of our event style, and some light refreshments to set the tone for the season. Dinner & Dance Gala - June 6: Our signature event of the year, the Dinner/Dance, will be held in Abravanel Hall on Sat., June 6. The event will feature an evening of summer inspired by cuisine, music, and dancing. This mid-year gala is always a highlight where we share great wine amongst great company in a beautifully decorated venue. Social & Elections - Oct. 16: We close the season on Oct. 16 with our Annual Club Social & Elections Night. Members come together for an informal tasting, recap of the year, and the election of next year's club officers. It's a relaxed, festive way to toast to another successful season. With an exciting slate of gatherings planned, 2026 promises to be a memorable year for wine lovers in Ocean Hills. The trail begins by honoring our pioneer OHCC Founders, and continues with those who so bravely served us. There are bricks honoring family members, beloved pets, and favorite universities. What is your inspiration? The HOA continues to take orders for your own personalized bricks. Fill out an order form at the HOA office, and include a check for $75.
