| OHCC LIVING | JANUARY 2026 | 7 Welcome to 2026, Ocean Hills residents! I hope you are starting the new year off right and that everyone enjoyed the Christmas parade. As we move forward, I'd like to address a few important concerns within our wonderful community. First, please pay close attention to the "DO NOT ENTER" sign posted near the four-way stop at the entrance of Ocean Hills, where vehicles exit the Clubhouse parking lot. This exit is intended for vehicles leaving the area only. Recently, bicyclists and single-rider carts have been using this as a shortcut to enter. While it may seem convenient, for everyone's safety, please use the main entrance. Drivers should remain attentive, but it's crucial that all residents respect the designated exit-only area. I also want to remind all pedestrians to wear bright clothing and use ref lectors, especially as it gets dark early. This helps drivers see you and keeps everyone safe. Please remember to use the pedestrian walk lane; it's there for a reason. Remember the pedestrian lane is only for walkers; continuous riding from a bicycle, golf carts, and single riders are against our regulation. The three modes-of- transportation I mentioned should be driven on the main road. Additionally, pet owners need to register their pets and ensure pets wear a collar with the owner's current phone number. When community patrol receives calls about loose animals, this information is essential for returning your pets safely. It also assists the Kennel Club in their efforts. Any questions regarding the rules and regulations, please do not hesitate to contact the front gate. I or any of the other officers will gladly answer them; we seek compliance and adherence to the rules established at Ocean Hills Country Club. Any actions performed by the officers that you would like me to address with the patrol officers, please give me a call or email. That should be it for now! As always, thank you OHCC residents, for your vital role in our community. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the rules. We are committed to serving you and the community; your feedback is invaluable. If you have any concerns or suggestions that you would like to see addressed in a future issue of OHCC Living Magazine, we encourage you to share them. Please feel free to contact me via email or phone. My office at the front gate is always open to residents. ~ Tony Duong, Account Manager, Securitas Security Services, Tony.Duong@ securitasinc.com, (760) 766-1458 or (760) 505- 2146 Community Patrol Services
