The January Cars & Coffee meeting was greeted with some cold
and damp weather, but no rain. It did not deter 12 car enthusiasts
from showing up and enjoying some hot coffee, pastries, and
great conversations. Rocky Shaw and Tom Conigliaro showed up
with their beautiful Porsches, Jim Ridderick with his 2008 Red
convertible Corvette, Emma and her son Matt Swearman with their
beautiful 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille (pictured above, left).
I will be taking a break this year and will not be coordinating a
Veterans Day car show for November. I will continue to hold our
monthly Cars & Coffee meetings as usual on the first Saturday of
each month.
Maybe we could have some other type of gathering, BBQ, picnic,
etc. throughout the year. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
