Please keep remembrances to 400 words and include one recent, high-resolution photo. Robert E. Boyle Robert Boyle passed away suddenly in New York City on November 25, 2025, after returning with his wife from a 25-day Mediterranean Cruise. He was 62 years old. He moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in September, 2019, with his wife, and they enjoyed many of the amenities at Sun Lakes, particularly the music on the Veranda on balmy summer nights. Robert was born on July 18, 1963, in Downey, California and grew up in Orange, California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University. He was employed for 35 years in the insurance industry. He retired as a Vice-President from Alliant Insurance Services in May of 2025. A lover of history and tasty food, Robert found travel offered the best way to visit historical sites and taste local cuisine of whatever country visited. He and his wife were travelers. They traveled to 35 states in the U.S. and 12 countries in Europe plus Canada and Mexico. Robert retired early at age 62 so he and his wife could travel extensively for the next few years. They were attempting to see all the places mentioned in the book 1,000 Places To See Before You Die. He loved his blended family fiercely, and besides traveling, the highlight of his life was spending time will all his children and grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rebecca, his children Patrick Boyle (T'NisYah "Mimi" Williams), Lyndsey DeMarco (Cassidy), stepchildren Matthew O'Reilly (Lucy Davila), Rachael O'Reilly (Kevin Messa) and grandchildren Elliot Sophia O'Reilly, Francis Wren DeMarco, and Foster Scout DeMarco. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, John Patrick Chestnut and Constance Cardinale Chestnut. Forever in our hearts. Joseph Michael (Tim) Curtis Tim was 80 years old when he passed away on Oct. 14, 2025. Tim and his cousin Bob Golchert (Bob the Baker) lived here in Sun Lakes for 19 years. Tim was born in upstate New York, Gouverneur, N.Y. on March 10, 1945. Joseph came out to California in 1963 to join the Catholicity order of "Brothers of Charity," teaching children in Banning at Sacred Heart School, and at St. Boniface School. Brother Timothy eventually became director of The Order of Brothers of Charity and built a new complex in Beaumont, now known as Childhelp. After many years, The Brothers of Charity was closed due to lack of new candidates. Tim still taught for 46 years in San Jacinto, San Bernardino, Pomona, and Arcadia, California. His service and Celebration of Life was held at Annunciation Church in Arcadia, California, where he taught eighth grade for 12 years before retiring. He will be missed by the many students that he taught and many friends here in Sun Lakes.
