Sun Lakes News Bits New information highlighted in yellow Supervisor's Message By Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez February is recognized as National Senior Independence Month, a time to celebrate older adults' ability to live independently while continuing to make meaningful contributions to our communities. This month highlights the vitality of our seniors and underscores the importance of supporting their independence and well-being. As your County Supervisor, I have made it a priority to connect with our senior community by hosting numerous "Meet and Greets" at senior HOAs and local senior centers. At each event, I bring togeth- er county departments that provide vital services, ensuring seniors have direct access to the resources and support they need to live safe- ly and independently. I remain firmly committed to empowering our valued seniors with the tools and resources necessary to lead vibrant, independent lives.
