Please join Team Sunshine at our next meeting on Mon., Feb. 2 at 10:30 am in the Ballroom. January's Sunshine Kindness Award was presented to Roberta Feigenbaum by Colleen Ferguson, for generously sharing her passion for healthy eating with Sunshine's Cancer Support Group. Roberta brings all the ingredients needed and prepares fresh homemade soups for all to enjoy during the group's time together. YUM! Team Sunshine Events Veterans Aairs, Dec. 9: Michael Bailey, Marine Veteran and Community Liaison of the Riverside County Veterans Services, provided attendees with a wealth of information on Veterans Affairs and how-to processes, including establishing himself as a valuable contact, going forward. Vintage Voices Christmas Concert, Dec. 13: Team Sunshine always enjoys providing hot chocolate and LOTS of cookies to our Vintage Voices guests. It gets us all in the holiday spirit, for sure! Worldwide Candle Lighting Memorial Service, Dec. 14: Our Four Seasons friends gathered for this worldwide occasion to honor the memory of all children gone too soon. We thank Four Seasons staff for their support, as well as Sharalee Boyer for her beautiful piano music, and to Joe Ruggiero for his moving performance of "I Believe" by Frankie Lane. Upcoming (Date TBD): "DOC TALK" with Rancho Family Medical Group. Stay tuned for date and details. Team Sunshine Cancer Support Meeting: Next meeting is Feb. 10 at 10 am at the Culton home (8190 Parry Drive). Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month. For inquiries, please text (951) 491-4058 or email 4seasonscancergroup@gmail.com. e Caring Connection: We are saddened to learn of the recent passings of Scotte Parke, Cynthia Daly, and Sharon Keyes. Team Sunshine has reached out to the families to offer condolences and assistance. If you have a Four Seasons friend or neighbor who is struggling with illness, loss or needs a bit of cheer, please notify us so we may send them a card and follow up with a phone call. For those requesting prayer, a request box is provided in the Multipurpose Room. We welcome all residents to join our Team Sunshine meetings.
